10.07.2013 Public consultations on the Open Government perspectives for the years 2014-2015
The Open Government Action Plan for the years 2014-2015 was the subject of public consultations launched on Tuesday by the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova. The event gathered together over 70 representatives of the public institutions and civil society - key actors in the Open Government initiative.

On Tuesday, July 9, the State Chancellery is launching the public consultations on the Open Government Action Plan for the years 2014-2015. The event is organized by the State Chancellery, e-Governance Centre and the National Participation Council in the context of implementation of the Agenda for Open Government, and as guests will be representatives of the central public authorities, development partners and civil society.
 
25.07.2012 Representatives of the State Chancellery studied Romania’s experience regarding the organization and functioning of the local administrative system
In the period of July 11-13, 2012, representatives of the territorial offices of the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova paid a familiarization visit to Suceava, Romania, to study experience of this country regarding the organization and functioning of Prefecture and of the local administrative system, and to establish cooperation relationships in the area of local public administration.
 
23.07.2012 The Government intends to reform and modernize over 550 public services in the period of 2012-2015
On July 19, the Government of the Republic of Moldova made public the draft Decision „On approval of the Public Service Reform Programme for the years 2012-2015”. The Programme is complex, aimed at improving the efficiency of the central public administration activity and increasing its performance by providing qualitative public services to population, including through ICT; deconcentration of public services by cutting the bureaucracy; implementation of e-governance and electronic services for citizens.

The Government of the Republic of Moldova together with the Moldovan Diaspora representatives, experts and officials from countries that have already implemented advanced models of Diaspora mobilization, held consultations on Diaspora policies.
 
16.07.2012 The Diaspora policies will be discussed in Chisinau
On July 19, 2012, the Government of the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the IOM, UNDP, the World Bank, the Swiss Agency for Development and the UN Women will hold a seminar dedicated to Diaspora policies. The extended consultations on the IOM’s Report on the Extended Migration Profile will be carried out in the event, organized within the Pilot–Project “Integration of migration in the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Moldova (MOMID), financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and implemented by the Government with the support of the UNDP and IOM.
 
04.07.2012 The World Bank appreciates the Moldovan progress in the implementation of the Central Public Administration Reform
Today, the Secretary General of the Government, Victor Bodiu, met the World Bank Mission (WB), which came to Chisinau for evaluation of the Central Public Administration Reform (CPAR). The discussions were focused on recorded progress, and on the future of Reform, including priorities of the Executive and further support of the development partners.
 
29.07.2011 Government's Secretary-General Victor Bodiu today participated in a meeting on the unveiling of a concept of a national document of strategic planning for 2012-2020, "Moldova 2020"
Attending the event were members of the National Participation Council, which brings together representatives of non-governmental organizations in diverse fields.Victor Bodiu made a presentation of the new document of strategic planning, which set the goal to include the entire society's vision on Moldova's development till 2020. The government's secretary-general made an invitation to all the interested factors (civil society, donors, opposition) to participate in these consultations.
 
27.07.2011 Delegations of the Moldovan government and the European Commission today participated in the first round of negotiations on Moldova's accession to the Single European Sky
The Moldovan team of negotiators was headed by the government's secretary-general, Victor Bodiu, and the European Commission's team by Director-General for Mobility and Transport Klaus Geil.
 
25.07.2011 The Single Classifier of public functions was approved
The Parliament, at the meeting of July 21, 2011, passed the Law on approval of Single classifier of public functions. Its main purpose is to objectively differentiate public functions according to complexity level of tasks and management and decision responsibility level; to increase the clarity/transparency level of different types of public functions by offering generic descriptions that will serve as reference for drafting of job descriptions; to establish general framework for civil servants' professional development system, as well as to set specific minimum requirements towards civil servant.
 
15.07.2011 New draft document on strategic planning, "Moldova 2020", presented today
At the Inter-ministerial Committee on Strategic Planning meeting, the government's secretary-general, Victor Bodiu, unveiled a new draft document on strategic planning, "Moldova 2020," that is to replace the present National Development Strategy.Victor Bodiu said the objective set while elaborating the new strategic document is to speed up the economic growth and reduce the poverty.
 
14.07.2011 Government's Secretary-General Victor Bodiu today chaired a meeting of the negotiation group dealing with the agreement on the EU-Moldova Single European Sky
At the meeting, the chief-negotiator on behalf of Moldova, Victor Bodiu said that his European counterpart, Klaus Geil has already submitted a draft agreement, which is to be posted on the www.particip.gov.md website in the days to come and set forth for consultations to all the concerned institutions, as well as to the representatives of civil society.
 
12.07.2011 The third cycle of training in SDP development starts today
Today, July 12, 2011 starts the third training cycle in issues related to Strategic Development Programs (SDP). Representatives of Policy Analysis, Monitoring and Evaluation Divisions (PAMED) from central public authorities will be acquainted with the last chapters of the SDP development Guide concerning capacities development and evaluation.
 
07.07.2011 Government approves admission to Master Higher Education within the Academy of Public Administration
The Government, within the meeting of July 6, 2011, has approved the regulation on admission to master higher education within the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Moldova (APA).Regulation concerns training of civil servants, political appointees and other personnel categories from local and central public authorities (50 candidates for full-time education with study period of 2 years and 250 candidates for part-time education with study period of 2,5 years).
