28.02.2013 The Republic of Moldova has presented progress in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals
During the first day of the Global Conference on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), organized in the period of February 27-28 in Bogota, Columbia, the Republic of Moldova has presented progress made by our country in the implementation of MDGs. At the Conference the Government is represented by Mr. Ruslan Codreanu, head of the General Department for Policy Coordination, External Assistance and Central Public Administration Reform within the State Chancellery. The key points of report referred to: reducing child mortality (MDGs 4), improving maternal health (MDGs 5), combating HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis (MDGs 6).
 
28.02.2013 IMPORTANT: control registration form
Tomorrow, March 1, 2013, the Law no.131 of June 8, 2012 regarding state control on entrepreneurship activity will enter into force („Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova” (Official Gazette of the Republic of Moldova), 2012, no.181-184, art.595). In accordance with the art.6 of the respective legislative act, every person subjected to control is required to have a control registration form. The State Chancellery, as central public administration authority for control monitoring, has drafted the control registration form.
 
20.02.2013 The Government has approved the Regulation on the State Register of Controls
Today, the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the draft Government Decision „On enforcement of the Law no.131 of June 8, 2012 regarding the state control on entrepreneurship activity. Being developed by the State Chancellery, the draft refers to approval of the Regulation on the State Register of Controls and control registers held by the control bodies. These registers will be held only in the electronic form. The establishment of the State Register of Controls will be carried out in two stages.
 
20.02.2013 The Bureau for Diaspora Relations launches consultations for the development of Birthright Programme in Moldova
The Bureau for Diaspora Relations (BDR) within the State Chancellery launches the discussions for the development of Birthright Programme concept in Moldova. This Programme offers the opportunity to Diaspora’s children, who have never seen or have not been for a long time in the native country, to visit the home country. The Programme is aimed at strengthening the link between those born abroad and Moldova.
 
12.02.2013 The public services become more accessible through the Governmental Service of Electronic Payments
The State Chancellery has launched today the public consultations regarding the draft Government Decision on establishing the Governmental Service of Electronic Payments. GSEP is a initiative of the State Chancellery, of the National Bank and of the Ministry of Finance and meets the goal established by the Government to digitalize all public services till 2020. With the help of this service it will be possible to pay for any public electronic service with any payment instrument available on Moldova’s market.

Today, Victor Bodiu, the Secretary General of the Government participated in launching the week „Cloud Computing-M-Cloud” – the governmental technological platform created to improve the data management quality, to increase information security and to streamline public services.
 
08.02.2013 The State Chancellery started the competition for filling several vacant civil service positions
The State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova has announced today the competition for filling several vacant civil service positions. Those who wish to be employed in civil service could apply for the positions of senior consultants in the Divisions within the Policy Coordination, External Assistance and Central Public Administration Reform Department and in other units of the State Chancellery.
 
07.02.2013 The State Chancellery initiated the process for modernization of external assistance data storage platform
The transparency in using external assistance provided to the Republic of Moldova by the development partners is a priority of the Government. Ensuring transparency is not possible without accurate and accessible information. That’s why, the State Chancellery, the national authority for external assistance coordination, has initiated a process for modernization of external assistance data storage platform.
 
06.02.2013 The Government encourages employment of youth in civil service
In the period of January 31- February 4, a Job Fair was held at “Moldexpo”, where the State Chancellery presented the information about 200 vacant positions existing at present in 30 public administration authorities, as well as the way of employment in civil service.
 
05.02.2013 The Moldovan authorities discuss with SIGMA Mission the cooperation perspectives in the area of central public administration reform
A tree-day workshop on the methodology and monitoring instruments for enforcement of the civil service regulatory framework is being held in Chisinau. The workshop is organized by the State Chancellery, jointly with SIGMA – a joint initiative of OECD and the EU. The workshop is part of SIGMA’s agenda, which pays a visit to the Republic of Moldova and will have meetings with the officials within the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
 
04.02.2013 The State Chancellery has started drafting the Annual report on external assistance
„What is the progress achieved by the project during 2012?”, „To what extent the project’s activities are in line with the national priorities?”, „Did the project contribute to the development of sector?”… These are several questions that are expected to be answered till March 15, by the ministries and central public authorities, who have been implementing projects financed from the external assistance. Thus, on Friday, February 1, the State Chancellery started to carry out the second project impact assessment exercise and based on it, the 2012 Annual report on external assistance will be drafted.
 
01.02.2013 The State Chancellery encourages donors to align with the Government’s priorities
On Thursday, the State Chancellery has presented within the first Joint meeting from this year with donors the results for 2012 regarding the use of foreign assistance provided to the Republic of Moldova. The participants appreciated the effort made by the Government to ensure transparency in using funds and discussed about the future cooperation. In this context, the representatives of the State Chancellery encouraged the development partners to align the financial support with the Government’s priorities, thus donors’ funds to be designed for the imperative needs of the country, respectively to be used more efficiently.
 
21.02.2012 About 60 civil servants will benefit from English language courses
Twinning English/ professional skills courses for employees of public administration involved in the implementation of Twinning, TAIEX, Sigma and Comprehensive Instituion Building Programme, were officially launched today, February 20. The courses were a joint initiative of the State Chancellery (Foreign Aid Division) and the EU project „Support to the State Chancellery – TTSIB”. These will take place during an academic year, twice a week, lasting two hours. Candidates nominated by public authorities underwent a rigorous selection procedure, being divided into three groups, according to their level of English language skills – advanced, higher intermediary and lower intermediary.

On the 14th of February 2012, took place the meeting between Mr Victor BODIU, Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and Mrs Ingrid TERSMAN, the Swedish Government Ambassador. At the meeting were present Mr Klas RASMUSSON, Head of Eastern Europe, Swedish Cooperation, Ms Ros-Mari BALOW, Adviser for Cooperation for Development of the Swedish Embassy in Chisinau.The purpose of the meeting was to review the bilateral cooperation between Moldova Government and the Government of Sweden.

25.02.2010 Government Representatives in the Regions Met Minister of State
The heads of territorial offices of the State Chancellery (TOSC) had a meeting on Friday 18, 2009 with Victor Bodiu, Minister of State and other representatives of the State Chancellery. The Minister of State introduced the Chancellery staff members who will always keep in touch with the territorial offices, among which is Gheorghe Mocanu, head of Local Public Administration Division, and said that the Government wishes to establish close ties with local public authorities.

The heads of human resources services (HRS) in central public authorities had their first quarterly meeting this year on Thursday, February 11. They addressed the performances achieved last year and got familiar with the main activities to be carried out in 2010.Tamara Gheorghita, head of Personnel Policy Division within the State Chancellery, went through the main achievements in HR management in civil service. The outcomes of performance appraisal of civil servants in central public authorities (CPA) were discussed by 20 managers from eight central public authorities at a methodical meeting, organized on February 16 by the Personnel Policy Division (PPD) within the State Chancellery.

03.02.2010 National Participative Council Meets for the First Time
On Tuesday the National Participative Council held its first meeting, which was attended by Prime Minister Vladimir Filat. The Prime Minister saluted the creation of the NPC and said that the Government intends to deepen the cooperation with the civil society on policy paper analysis practically, not just declaratively, and relies on the advice and proposals coming from the NGO members of the committee as to how to improve the legal and normative framework regulating the performance of the Cabinet of Ministers. Vladimir Filat is hopeful that a mechanism for productive cooperation between the Government and NPC will be developed at ministerial level.
